i thought he did a good job in what was a hard match considering the way the dutch clogged any spanish player that got the ball
if anything he was too lenient with the dutch players
Bert van Marwijk should look closer to home before he criticises anybody.
Yeah...
Leniency has always been his forte with "some" teams...
dont be silly utd havent won the world cup
england?, i will be supporting the philipines from now on
i have learnt to do what my wife says!
Webb was between a rock and a hard place and to be given the final he must have been regarded as the best in the world.
I couldn`t give a toss as the thugs lost and by a well taken goal
The Dutch coach should be upset as he must have wanted all his players sent off so they got a replay

I find referee Howard Webb cute!
The Dutch have got a cheek. The ref was very very lenient with them imo.
Well Suck Bladder has stood behind the ref ..... ... no no no .... not that 'close'

i thought the reff was brill took no crap and he was in charge , well thats me who knows nothing of football
A very dodgy ref and Manchester Uniteds 12th man
Johan Cruyff was slating the Dutch side today. he reckoned they should've had more players sent off!
Poor kalbo ref was on a hiding to nothing really.
If the ref had stuck to the letter of the law the game would have finished with 8 players against 10... at most ... and that would have been a disaster for the sport. The Dutch knew this and took advantage of it, and they are the only ones to blame for the problem, not FIFA (for once), nor the ref or the Spanish.
Bloody blame culture today looking for all outs .... the blame simply goes to the person (team in this case) committing the violence in the first place.

The Dutch blew it. I'm sure they'll always be wondering "what if."
What if they'd played to their strengths instead of trying to neutralise the Spanish passing game.
Very sad to see. In the absence of a decent England side (not unusual) I used to really love watching the Dutch as a kid. Cruyff and Rensenbrink were my faves. It's a shame the Dutch didn't play and make up for the losses those guys endured.
Oh well, just have to look forward to a Brazil England final in 2014.
Robben should have scored they was robbed
If anyone has ever watch Howard webb in the skyball Premiership ( I mean at a game rather than TV) they would be used to his typically random decisions
Booking a player when he didn't see what had happened, missing straight reds in front of him. Not booking iniesta for kicking the ball away or him and along with some of the others card waving.
While the Dutch should have had 8 which they soon would have got to 7 so the game had to be replayed or voided.. Which im sure instructions to howard webbfrom above would have meant turn a blind eye to what occurs..
The Dutch cant talk but Im sure like many the minute I heard H Webb was reffing the match my heart sank as if he is one of the best Ref's in the world then..
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops
