Hi guys good to see the pound getting stonger
Wheres the exchange rate at the bottom of the forum gone?
didn't notice it was gone til now.
I am having an existential moment of self doubt!
What if it never really was there? What if ... this forum doesn't really exist and I am just in a daze right now ... or what if .... what if I don't exist?!?
james, are u on drugs my friend? hahaha
I woke up this morning to a "txt msg" ... and i cut my nipple with my sharp fingernail! Woke up covered in blood! lol! True story!
I will sleep soon.
I do love running my own business though, coz it means no early mornings! gosh, I HATE early mornings lol!
i use coinstar its about p.5 to p1 less that the exchange rate and its only £4.75 charge for up to £3000 sentand if direct to bank account its there in a couple of minuites or next day for cash pickup
As life is to live so love is to give
exchange rate going in wrong direction again, around the same now as it was more than 10 years ago, and just think how much things have gon up since then, rp is not cheap anymore, prices go up ther very quick, and our pound is going down..
It could be worse.
Check this out:-

its like anything you have to ajust your buget to make things better for yourself
Hopefully it will stay higher for my visit in November.
well languish not matter what it is then you would still have a great time and not to long to wait now
yes 2004-2006 were good years for us Brits
It was good for me & wife, we built most of our house when the exchange was 90/100
Its on 69 at the moment - im hoping to see a favourable exchange rate for my visit there in 3 weeks i doubt it will shift much though to be truthful, non?
You'd only notice a differerence if it shofted 10+
£/$ is now 1.6

be a long time i think grace
Probably a wasted exercise as by the time that ever happened, the crazy monetary inflation here would have wiped out your gains.we will gonna wait for that rate again till we buy properties in phils..just wonder when that will happen lol
Example: 2 years ago a cubic meter of gravel here in Bohol was 600 Pesos. I just bought some yesterday for 1200 Pesos per cubic meter.. Same type of thing goes for sand and cement..(you know...The stuff houses are made out of)
