i just arrived in the UK.. was very happy to have arrived here but am very shocked of how expensive the food was, especially since we just arrived and havent started work and school yet. anybody who can help us find a part time job?

It's pretty more expensive down where you live than where I live as I'm from the North but even so, there wouldn't be no big difference. The best thing you can do if you want to get a part-time job is to search online just around your area or so.... you never know. Hope you get it sorted out soon

As Gecko said, food is undoubtedly more mahal in London than elsewhere in the country.
Although, since returning to the UK from the Philippines, I have noticed that if i shop in ASDA and Iceland, I get food of a similar quality and a similar price to that which i was used to enjoying in the Philippines!
