As Gecko said, food is undoubtedly more mahal in London than elsewhere in the country.
Although, since returning to the UK from the Philippines, I have noticed that if i shop in ASDA and Iceland, I get food of a similar quality and a similar price to that which i was used to enjoying in the Philippines!
