Exactly what i was thinking - more than meets the eye. From her words it would seem that she had everything organised properly, so why did she get rejected? Perhaps it was just the wrong person she got in the Embassy, ... I still think that instead of being fatalistic and saying "God doesn't want me to go there now", I think it would have been wiser to lodge an Appeal! If everything was in order, then there will be no problem in getting it sorted out.
JAMES SHE LODGED HER APPEAL THE DECISION CAME BACK THIS JUNE & SHE LOST THE APPEAL TATS WHY IM THINKING MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE HERE
me dont no wot all d big deel is wif spellin aneway!
I'm a cruel and heartless bitch but I知 damn good at it!
Ive got one bit concern with regards to my application form.
Ive just realized i made mistake giving the wrong date of birth of my mover! will they go throught it and check and will say your visa has refused as your mover's date of birth is wrong? oh ! im dead now!
it was a handwritten answer.

'reese, I'll send u an email tomorrow (sat) ok thanks for ur email by the way hope you are successful, as my wife also
she went back to the counter a few times and i dont know what was wrong with these staff!
Just a thought if the documents werent properly arrange and the applicants have made the effort to get there then i think they should give the applicants a hand with submission of the application.
I have no idea why they didnt take them photos as they know its one of the important evidences.
The staff seemed to be rushing as it was 3 pm, they havent had their luch, trying to finish off the qeue and here comes Lyn having just one bit of problem and they could not helped her.
She was even asked to go back on monday but ive asked her what was wrong. They said she didnt have her application form...so i have to show her mine and she actually have one. So i told her to go back to the counter as theres one left and they accepted her application in the end. But she didnt tell me that they didnt want them photos. If ony she told me i could have asked her to go back to that woman and demanded to take the photos as it will help big time with her application.
Ive noticed only 2 out of 6 staff were friendly. Unfortunately me and Lynn went to the miserable ones!
It was such a stressfull day for me and Lynn.
I would say i had a bad experienced at the VFS.
O well never mind as long as its done now..just waiting for the result. I hope this time the visa processor will be too kind enough to consider and will grant our visas!
Fingers cross!

Yes they were! Miserable, grumpy and rude!
And besides she was the last applicant anyways and they should have asked Lyn to show all the papers that shes got on her hand so they could find the application form rather than asking her to come back on monday! All the staff were Filipino and they should be helping and guiding us to be able for us not to waste another time from coming back. Lyn told me that she lives in Tacloban and thats too far and shes made a lot of effort to get there on time just to have that kind of treatment.
A few people were quite scared to these 2 staff.....i wanted to look for their boss to complain that miserable cow but i just have to keep my head down as it might just cause problems or delays with my application.

[QUOTE=-sillybilly-;235923]Yes they were! Miserable, grumpy and rude!
i do agree sillybilly...
went to VFS just before submitting my application just to clarify something and this girl from information desk seems not in the mood giving information nor explaining things further...her face looks irritable and grumpy always makes conversation short as possible...nasty i can say and not being helpful as she should be...then goes my turns giving me a face like no one wouldn't want to approach her...so i told her is ur face and attitude really like that as no one feels comfortable going to your desk and ask a question...i was really like ...i told her..been to british embassy a lot of times and never i seen a face like that from any of their staff and im expecting same courtesy here...cant imagine her reaction..lol...serves her right!!!
[QUOTE=gparry2007;235936]Good for you! I wanted to make a complain as soon as i was called because that woman on the counter thinks im daft asking for the photocopies of the documents...i was just only thinking of my application but if not i wold have a word with her right infront of the applicants.

VFS accepted our wedding photos i pasted on a4 papers, but she refused to get our videos as ECO wont have time to watch it she says.
Marlyn & Kenny forever
my wife has got around 50 piccys, after reading mrmattys trouble i am going to tell my wife to DEMAND they take all her documents, i am sure mrmatty will be ok though as its only a couple of pics, his wife had everything needed i think.
Its a shame that the staff are so mean, i wonder why they intimidate there own people, maybe a bit of jealousy in the office as they will not be going to the UK??
[QUOTE=-sillybilly-;235961]u have all the right to complaint if u think they are being nasty to u ...and they should not refuse any application from applicants especially if there is nothing wrong with it...its their job they need to it right....know ur right and fight for it
