Well what a day, It was only a half really, arrived in Makati at 9.10am with appointment booked for 9.30am,
Everything went so smoothly so I expected a FXXX up somewhere as it was to good to be true without one . Wife went in i went for a beer, 40 mins later i got the call wifey back outside but it was not good news!, The managers cheque i had obtained a few days before was 30 pesos yes 30 pesos over the correct amount, OVER 30 pesos!, they would not except the cheque, so after having given my opinion we had no choice but to leave and obtain a cheque for the right amount,
now i only hold 1 local card on me along with my id and i thought that atm card was only good for 25k a day......... well i bolted into makati bdo with smoke on my heels and was told i could get 50k and so did, obtained a new cheque with the correct amount, 47,656p not 47,686p.
All was well after that, the wife was inside for 40 mins and allowed to leave, seems the paperwork was complete and looked ok. The only thing i heard that annoyed me was they pulled all the stickys we had put on night before to separate the divisions of paperwork so the real embassy may have to do a bit of work to see which was which, hopefully its easy enough, anyway that was today, i been for a good few beers to celebrate the handling of it allone thing i can say is that i did not realize how much work the embassy has to deal with if today was a normal day,, the place was packed, i got a glimpse from outside when wife opened door! i have a couple of pics but dont seem to be able to post as yet? or maybe to many SML's
