Look at it from your child's point of view rather than your own. I know it's culturally accepted in the Philippines to leave children with family, no problem with that, but if you were the kids age would you be happy if your mother went off to a foreign country with a strange man
and left you?
One thing we've noticed on here over the years is that the kids are often left out of the equation. I lost count of the number of times I've seen the mother come here on a visa and then ask what to do about getting her kids here!!! Surely that should be known before you leave.
