Hi Welcome to the forum!
I used to lived in Portsmouth and yes there are lots of filipinos round that area. If you go to Gunwharf Quay or City Center during saturdays and sundays you'll see them lots shopping around with their friends and families.
There is a Catholic church just right at the back of City Center ( cant remember what its called now) and you'll see lots of pinoys attending the Sunday mass.
Most of them are nurses with their wife/husband and kids.
