What gets me is that a lot of the new "bands" these days are not playing any instruments.
    It is just karioke.

I like the Manchester band "Elbow", they are newly discovered but were playing for many years.

Imagine being a talented musician, watching the success of dross singers and dancers over the years.

Bob Dylan is magnificent, a real poet and master storyteller

Well ... Dylan THOMAS was certainly a [Welsh] poet and writer! But I hadn't realised Bob Dylan also possessed those talents in addition to being a singer/songwriter of the Sixties.

Ah Arthur, read the lyrics to "tangled up in blue" for example.
Millions of people all over the world have followed Bob Dylan since the early 60's for his words as well as his music

    From Wiki:
    Legacy
Bob Dylan has been described as one of the most influential figures of the 20th century, musically and culturally. Dylan was included in the Time 100: The Most Important People of the Century where he was called "master poet, caustic social critic and intrepid, guiding spirit of the counterculture generation".
