Flight Steward storms off plane

Seems he was a bit annoyed at a passenger for ignoring his stay seated calls. So what did the male steward do, grabbed a beer and then opened an exit door and slid down the inflatable slide, before casually getting into his car and driving home. He's been charged with "criminal mischief, trespassing and reckless endangerment"

Whats more shocking is the last paragraph at the end:

"Some Facebook users have created a page in support of Mr Slater for walking off the job." Stupid, stupid, dumb people. He's not a hero you brain dead idiots! Blimey Charlie

This facebook thing gets me, probably the same idiots who made a page up in honour of that Roul bloke who went on that gun rampage for a couple of weeks a little while back. New York Port Authority officials arrested the by now ex-air steward at his beachfront Belle Harbor home a few hours later.

Police sources said he was in bed with his boyfriend when officers arrived at his home.

yeah saw this on the news, apparently the woman was taking out her overhead bag as the plane was still moving, the steward went to ask her to sit down and the bag hit him in the face, he had a scar on his head in his news interview.

Guess the guy just lost it for a while, but i think its the best way i have heard of resigning your job, with a beer and a slide.
