I am not aware of any surge in Asylum seekers in this area. Almost all the migrants are from Eastern Europe and are here to work. I don't know any who are simply here to milk the system. However there are many locally born people who are very adept at doing just that. I don't suggest that there is not a problem with the abuse of the Asylum system, as I feel there clearly are some issues, but that is not the reason for the immigration increases in this area.Originally Posted by Dedworth
