Sadly, it happens all too often in the Phils - with, allegedly, poorly maintained vehicles (and ferries.) Thank goodness their planes are relatively safe!

reminds the first time i went to the Phils, the taxi we were in, its brakes failed, thankfully no one was hurt
According to the news, some of the victims is a family who's about to migrate to the US in a couple of days and they were just going to visit some relatives when the accident happened...
