I just want to ask if you're gonna complete the online application? It just reminds me of an error on their application form online because even if I'd select "settlement", it will ask " When do you intend to leave the UK?" which is for tourist visa applicants and that's the reason why I just downloaded the VAF4 for and didn't continue the online one. I sent them an email regarding it and said they're going to take a look at it. Weeks later, when I visited their site, they were having an update of their online application, so I assumed it's been fixed.

Anyway, make sure your intended date of departure is not more than 3 months from the date of your application because it's not allowed. I had to change the date I put on the form because I applied 4 months before my intended departure. They will tell you to either change the date, or come back to re-apply.
