Hi All,
I assume it's OK to have a two week holiday out of the UK if you are on a spouse visa and this will not affect any ILR application at the end of the two year spouse visa?
Anyone know for sure please.
Thank you.

Yes it is OK to spend some time out of the UK on holiday.
Although there does not seem to be any details of residential requirements before you apply for ILR, after you have ILR and later apply for citizenship it states that you need to :-
- have not spent more than 270 days outside the United Kingdom during the three-year period; and
- have not spend more than 90 days outside the United Kingdom in the last 12 months of the three-year period
no set, max number of days for ILR you can be out of the uk, but the UK is suppose to be your home.
as rusty has already posted keep within the guides for citizenship and you shouldn't have a problem getting ILR.
to keep it simple don't have more than 90 days a year outside the UK and you shouldn't have any problems with ILR or Citizenship![]()
Thank you for the replys much appreciated. Going to enjoy our holiday then![]()
