My spouse visa was issued august 8,2008 and arrived here september 13 ..My visa expired August 8 called the home office when is the best time to post my application home office said 1st week of august . sent it by post august 2 and got a confirmation letter after 7 dys .. I didnt expect i will get my ILR in less than 2 weeks .. what happened was my husband needed his passport back .. so he called the home office August 17 if its possible to get his back.a woman from home office said he can get it back because he is not the applicant ,said to him will send it back in 10 dys . but after 3 dys he called the home office we got a parcel from home office .. i was so nervous opening the big envelope ..all my documents was there and my passport with ILR stamp.and i checked the date on the stamp date is august 16 one day before my husband called .now no more worries
..may i ask what are the documents you submitted aside from letters address to you both .have u take the test in life in the uk test? as ive know u have to take it before applyint ILR? but correct me if i am wrong.
