    Cool Philippine Version of CNI

    Hi Peeps,

Last Tuesday Aug 31 me and Fiance went to British Embassy to get his CNI Philippine Version. Thought that it will take only an hour to get that. But they have already a new policy that it will take 1 day to process your application. We also had to produce my birth certificate and cenomar together with his CNI, Birth Certificate, Decree absolute and Passport.

We have a schedule flight the following day Sept 1 so we cant pick up the CNI in 5 days time. And it means that we are running out of time as my fiance will be here only for 21 days. Luckily the girl who's dealing with my fiance papers is nice and give as an exemption. SHe told us to come back at 3:30 PM same day 7 hrs waiting

So for the peeps out there whos planning to get married here in Philippines need to be aware that you need to allow 1 day to get your CNI Philippine version

And on Monday Sept 6 we will get our marriage license for only 4 days processing

, for this very useful information, Cess. So glad the member of staff was able to make an exception ... given YOUR particular circumstances! All the best to you and your fiance on your forthcoming wedding.

his can be done by the following business day of your application if you can produce a CNI issued by your Registrar of Marriages in the United Kingdom
Yeah, very good to post this. I'm not sure when they decided to change this, but they didn't exactly publicise it very well.

    Hi Stevie,
The girl who collected my fiance papers ask for a copy of our flight details. A proof that we will be on holiday the next day.
Dont worry too much everything will be fine

My fiance and I will be going to the embassy on Nov. 8, hopefully we can have the same accommodation as you Ma'am Cessxy. As much a possible we wanted to be back here in davao fro our Marriage Application coz he will only be here for 3 weeks. The thought that he'll be going back to UK right after the wedding is really heartbreaking. So as much as possible we wanted to register earlier so that we will have time to be together as husband and wife before he goes back to UK.

Hello Cessxy! Your post was so helpful. May I know how much you paid at the embassy to get the local version of CNI?

    Thank you!

    Hello Cessxy!

I would like to know how you got your license for just 4 days which is normally released 10 days after application. My fiance will be staying here for a very limited time. I need to know how you did it, so we can also manage to get a license that quick.

    I really need help here.

    thank you!

Hi, sis the 4796 pesos is for the Philippine CNI version not for marriage application ...
We paid 50 PESOS for marriage license application form and another 100 pesos for the marriage license
If you want to make it quick better to talk to people in your municipality and explain your circumstances
