Red face VFS Manila -> British Embassy = Assessment

I applied a spouse visa (settlement visa) on August 10, 2010....Does anyone knows the flow chart of the documents after VFS dispatched it to the British Embassy?

    Comments/suggestions/ideas/advises...shall be very much appreciated...

In what way Fiona? The documents are recieved by the Entry Clearance Officer, and then there is a possibiility of an interview or them being given to the Entry Clearance Manager.

Hi Ricky, I want to know on how they do the processing of the documents once the Entry Clearance Officer recieved it,how ECO review the documents before they finally decide whether or not be granted a visa.

This is a difficult question, they are primarily assessing whether the relationship appears genuine and whether you have sufficient funds to support your relationship without recourse to public funds in the UK. I can't say for sure, but I should imagine that they will assess the credibility of the documents and will take notice of official bank statements, photos, stamps in the passports. They will cross reference this against the information supplied in the application. Discrepancies, omissions, incorrect information or insufficient evidence will make it difficult for them to decide in your favour.
The process is relatively fair, and you can find all the exact guidelines on the UK Border Agency website for the criteria which everything is balanced against.
If your relationship is genuine and you have the funds, its a case of showing it to them. They can only really base their decision on what you provide, and supplying a bank statement and a few chat logs probably wouldn't cut the mustard.

This is all my own opinion based on what i've read on the UK Border Agency website, my experiences and those that i've read on here.

....with regards to British Embassy and ECO,.i think they are doing their job well but it is highly recommended that the applicant checked, read, reviewed, understand and organized all the documents before they submit it to the VFS ,..so that the ECO will not have a hard time accessing/make a decision and can give the applicants an easy suitable outcome on his/her visa applications.
