    DFA passport renewal, waiting time

My wife is going to RP and will renew her passport whilst there.

Can anyone please tell us how long it takes in DFA Manila to renew the passport. That is from application to collection.

    Thanks

the earliest is a week..and the latest is 2 weeks..but what takes long now is the waiting time for your schedule. You have to get a schedule on when you can get a new/renewal passport online. My friend will get her daughter a new passport and the earliest she got is end of October..

Approximately how soon can one get an appointment on line. Like, does one need to start the process weeks or months before?

    Thanks again

when i applied i got a confirmation the same day ,the appointment they gave me was just a day after i applied online..i confirmed that the appointment date is suitable for me,printed the email confirmation and hand it to dfa together with the other documents they require, done my biometrics, and paid for 7days waiting (P1,200) .Once done, i proceeded to the large hallway where the LBC delivery kiosk is located. paid 100 for it and wait for my passport to be delivered at my house.

    hi there!

Passport renewal will only takes up to 15days. But just to let you know that she needs to book an appointment by telephone or online for her appearance and thats the one thats takes a while as they are mostly fully booked.

Passport applicants have to get their biometrics. For renewal, no need for an NBI clearance.
I'm a cruel and heartless bitch but I’m damn good at it!
