Liverpool face up to the threat of administration as crisis deepens at Anfield

The sense of looming crisis threatening to engulf Liverpool deepened on Saturday as Roy Hodgson’s side stuttered to a 2-2 draw with Sunderland at Anfield and it emerged the Royal Bank of Scotland has not ruled out the possibility of Kop Holdings, the company which owns Liverpool, going into administration.

A bit like Manchester United who are also reported to make shed loads of money, strange that their dubious US owners have to mortgage themselves to the hilt, maybe it is something to do with their other business interests dragging them down ?

The club is valued at more than the debt so it can't go into administration, that only happens when the debts are higher than the net worth.

Leed's debts were higher than its net value, not the case with Liverpool or Manu.

Dedworth's just hoping the two most sucessful english teams will disappear so his bankrolled team can win the Champions league, never going to happen and even if it did it would take his team about 20 years to catch up what we have won if they won every game

Liverpool and man utd are here to stay
