Please forgive me if this has been posted before, but I'm so angry I could go POP. My Flex account (cash card) with the Nationwide Bs. has been Blocked so that I cannot obtain any money via the ATM's now. I rang up the Nationwide in the UK. and was told that as from November 2010 the Nationwide will be not renewing the contract with Cirrus, making most of their Cash cards used worldwide useless. They will (already have) issued to me at my old address in the UK. a Cash Card Plus card whereas with this new card I can buy goods etc. in shops (in the Philippines? get real) and pay by the new card but as for obtaining cash...forget it...Tossers !!!...I will have to go home now to the UK. to change my Pensions and Savings to another Bank now..I feel so, so angry over this

You'll also find that from November, Nationwide are charging 2% plus £1 for every cash withdrawl from any cashpoint /ATM outside of the UK.

theres a lot of hassle with Nationwide since last year, ... i dunno if they are expanding or they just want more and more money with their clients as per charges is concern..

have u tried Santander Bank??
