I never kept marines for that very reason Fred. Mind you, what I pay for water is criminal. I have to use RO water on my 2500ltr system for my Discus, with 80% water changes every 3rd day. If I do this when I get to Phils seeing we have our own water supply, I can waste as much water as I like with no heating costs lol.Originally Posted by fred

Im planning a new setup here in the P.I and as I have access to fresh seawater,fish and live rock etc which will basically cost me nothing it should be more easily sustainable this time..
I'd love to see your setup once you're done
