    Yes Sir......
But the expierence we had in there was not very nice...We end up arguing the 1st person who interviewed us.... Because me and husband was live in my mum-inlaw house for one year, so we ask a letter from her but we dont have any bills from her to support that letter because i thought its just a letter....But we have one bank statement for that address...But that man was still insisting any bills from my mum-inlaw....So i told him the only i've read in the website was letter, i've never read any bills from ....But he was getting grumpy...He even told us to go away and read the website...and he wants us to go home and get the bills from my mum-inlaw....So my husband was so mad....My husband was said can we speak any person here...so he gave us a number we went in the 1st floor spoke to the very nice lady with no problem.....huhuhu....thanks god..everything went well

maybe he was having a bad day

your suppose to have 6 letters addressed to you both spread over the 2yrs.

so he probably wanted to see some letters from when you were living with your mother in law?

anyway you got your ILR , thats all that matters

if you've been in the UK only 1yr your going to have to apply for further leave to remain FLR(M)

    http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/si...forms/flr/flrm

you might be granted flr for 2yrs or until you've been in the UK 2yrs (another yr ??)

you can apply for this any time up til a few days b4 your visa expires, but i would do it asap.

have you passed the 'life in uk' test ?

your financial situation has changed, is your husband working ?

hi thanks for the reply, yes we are both working (husband's own company) the company is very young as we lived in the philippines before that. as we own the bussiness we only draw a little wage for each of us - as we want the bussiness to grow fast...just worried that its because we draw from the bussiness is only like 900 between the two of us, they might say we cant afford to support our stay here.

i havent took yet the life in the UK test - would this be one of the requirement eventhough im only applying to extend my spouse visa?

the 'life in uk ' test , no only if you were applying for ILR.
you shouldn't have a problem getting FLR, hardly anyone is ever refused as long as you supply what your asked for. just explain on the app form about your business or in a letter

    and good luck

I always join with Carina for any official interview. I have found that they often use English which is, well official, and not easily understood.
Perhaps they are quoting from the 'manual'. Civil Servants often do that.
