I agree on the cold showers! Bloody awful way to wake up! Even Jane is not looking forward to that next week. Yes we are in a hotel but we are going to stay for a few days in a nipa hut on the sea front. That is one thing Jane says is not missing, darn cold showers

how much dose your electric bill go up?, wen you you bring your wife and 2 kids to uk from rp. to any members that have been ther and done that. and do they cope well with the cold wen you bring them back in the cold winter here in uk from hot rp, and do they get sick. i brought my son to uk a few years ago from malaysia and he got a fever in august on the way back home in car from lhr..

No idea about the actual cost but im in Basle and my wife and baby are currently on cam at home. My wife says she turned the thermostat up a little bit as its cold there. She is now dressed like she is in the Phillippines and baby is walking around in little more than a diaper.

Junior 02, Going back to your first post on this thread, I said my monthly gas in the winter was 45 pounds, it is in fact £65 per month. the temp set at 21c from 9am to 11pm. When you arrive, try and get them all to wear clothes in the house. I know a few guys here mention they ladies complain about the cold in the house while they are wearing next to nothing !. I remember when we first came back home, I set temp at 30c, even I was walking round in my underpants it was so hot! You mention about colds, Jane been here 11 months now and no colds. You mention your Son having some sort of cold, I wld take a guess that it was a cold caught from the air travel he had just undertaken. Good luck.
