How does it work, what documents do they need if for example not only my husband and if my husband's financial bank statement is not good for the past 6 months because we used it for our wedding and he's been travelling here in Philippines....
If for a example a friend will help sponsor, what are the requirements they will need provide?

Other sponsors are possible, but it may all have to be documented with their signed letters, bank statements, payslips, passports etc.
You need to provide evidence which will persuade the decision makers that the support is no less reliable than income from employment and will prevent the recourse to public funds.
Any acceptable 3rd party support must not only be a sufficiently reliable source but also such support should not represent a significant financial loss to them.
The inclusion of 3rd party sponsors will inevitably cause increased financial scrutiny.
To be honest, I have no 'real case' experience on 3rd party sponsers that I could give you.
Maybe others on this forum do have.

Along with this, the sponsor / friend should also provide evidence that he can support your trip, i.e. disclose details about his finances and employment.
These could be bank statements or bank books, Bank letter or balance certificate, payslips, evidence of income from property or land (eg property deeds, mortgage statements, tenancy agreements, accountant’s letters, land registration documents or crop receipts). It is important that these records go back up to at least 6 months to show stability.
You should also supply evidence of the sponsor's immigration status in the UK, this could be copies of:
- bio-data pages from their passports
- valid visa or immigration stamp from their passport
- Home Office letter confirming permission to stay in the UK

if you can get a relative to sponsor you, as you might have a right to a full appeal if refused.

My husband is an EEA but I guess all the requirements are the same about bank statements and all that, that's why we are trying to check for other ways like friends being a sponsor aside from him.... Thanks Dakila....
i take it hes in the uk? how long has he been in the uk ? and what country is he from in europe ?
if he is a EEA citizen excersing his treaty rights then he virtually has a legal right to bring you to the UK, only reason really they can refuse you for is if they think the relationship is not genunie.
Well he has been in UK since 2008 and he's been working there since he got there, he was actually studying as well but he stopped this year and planning to go back to university next year.... He is from Lithuania..... by the way I am curious about this relationship genuine thing... how can they say that it is not genuine like what are their basis? I am actually like curious about this what if they will just decide out of the blue that the relationship is not genuine even if it is.... what are their basis for that? Like me of course I don't see my husband that often as the cost of fare is well not so affordable in our case.... so our communication is only thru skype we just video chat everyday ......
in addition my husband told me that he was talking to one solicitor and the solicitor said that what we need to apply is spusal visa not the eea family permit.... and that he doesn't even need to show bank statement account that his Tax I forgot the name of that paper P60 P45 something like that I guess I forgot... he said that it's enough the solicitor said... is that right?

not genuine - if it looks like a marriage of convenience, possible signs are, if you both cannot communicate - speak a same language, married very quickly, met once etc,,
i think you have got that the wrong way around, i hope he told you to apply for a family permit and not a spouse visa

Nope didn't get it wrong, because I was the one who is imposing for EEA Permit and then he said the Solicitor told him it should be Spousal VISA / Settlement.
Yes, he is working right now, he's been in UK since 2008. He's been working since then, though the first year that 2008 he's been working on a different company as he is under agency so the agency just sends him to different company that needs employees. But August or Sept 2009 his been working in one company but he got laid off for end of contract and they don't need much employer at the moment but he is working still right now on a different company well he just signed contract with them.
My husband and I, I would say we met twice though that twice is of course in those twice he stayed long not only days or a week. Though before we met we've been in relationship for 7 almost 8 months already. Well in our case We do Video /Voice chat everyday even before we met and until now.
By the way really? your parents are Lithuanian? So you must be a Lithuanian by blood?
So what do you think..... by the way the UK border agency website has been updated I haven't checked the new requirements just yet it was updated Sept 2010 last week of Sept or First week of Oct. I forgot LOL it was something around that time.

So I am confused, although upon checking on the VISA categories since my husband is permanent resident, he has the right to stay (unlimited) I am qualified to both EEA and Spousal. But then I am still hesistant about the requirements because most people I asked here in this forum they always say we need the bank statements for 6 months. Then my husband told me the solicitor said that it's ok the bank statement is not needed anymore just need P60.

Having the bank account records showing sufficient savings is always a huge help. They look at it and if they are satisfied they most likely will grant you any request. Remember! Money talks always works. Majority of times anyway!

if your husband first came to the uk on 2008 he is not a permanent resident of the UK, he needs to have lived in the UK for a continuous period of five years
Thanks , yeah I kind of read about it in ukba website, well I guess he just assumed the permanent residence thing as that because of their limited stay..... I told him about it.... and the home office also replied to him thru email and said it should be EEA permit.
