    Ilr confused.

hi. i just submitted my ilr application today dated oct, 18,2010. ive been searching from here before i submit mine but still i want to make if i am on the right track. Please let me know if i submit it in the right span of time.

    oct.16, 2008 ___visa issued/valid from

nov. 4, 2008 ___arrival in uk

    jan. 16, 2011____visa expiry

what i did is to count 28days backward started from the day i arrived in UK or which i mean 28days before my 2years completion. Although i still more enough time before my visa runs out as I was given 27month spouse visa . please let me know if am doing the right thing. thanks

    marylen,
    That's fine.
28 days before the end of your 2-year qualifying period.
I'm sure everything will be OK try not to worry, (easier said than done)
Just let us know when you celebrate

Marylen ... I've been following threads about ILR with particular interest - because my wife, Myrna will be due to file her application early next year. And - from what I understand - you've done everything according to the rules. So, as Terpe says, try not to worry, and keep us posted.

ah ye thank you arthur and terpe, i just a lil bit worried if i submitted too early coz my visa runs out on 2011, mine is 27months spouse visa , coz mostly here ive read is 24months, but still i didnt pay attention to when my visa runs out as what i did is 28days before 2yrs of completion no matter if it is 24mos-27mos spouse visa. hope am right.

stop worry you've done the right thing
you've applied as early as you could, you could have left it upto a couple of days b4 your visa expired.(the lastest you could apply)
but its always best to apply asap, so if there are any problems with your app you have time to sort them out
24 or 27 months the earilest you can apply for ILR is upto 28 days b4 you've been in the uk 2yrs .. so no problems
