Do you guys have any pointers as to what to include, what not to include, any example letters I can use or refer to?

or someone can send me any example letters?
and i want to know whats documentation requirements!!?

    Thanks in advance

It is advisable to include the following points on the Sponsor's letter:

    - Circumstances of meeting (when and how you met, how long have you been together now, etc)

    - Financial Position (the sponsor's citizenship, residential address, occupation, salary - also do not forget to include payslips / employment contract / letter from employer, bank statements, savings, etc)

    - if you have any degrees or qualifications yourself, it will be worth mentioning as well (attach diplomas, merits, etc)

    - Accomodation in the UK (describe the means of accomodation - how big / how many rooms, if it's within the sponsor's property, then attach supporting documents like mortgage payments / lease contract / pictures / permission from landlord to accomodate another person etc

    - your relationship at present (how often do you stay in touch and through what means, what are your plans for the future, etc)

I hope this is helpful. Good luck with your application!

    Regards,
    Daks

    Firstly, to the filipino/uk forum.

Which brings me to my second point:

You're presently located in Italy; I therefore have to ask if you are an Italian Citizen ... or are you, in fact, British? The reason for my question is because ... although [I imagine] the required documentation to be similar in many - if not, all - respects in either case ... there are notable differences in the regulations applicable to partners of residents from EEA countries (other than the UK).

Thirdly, I'm pleased to see that fellow members have already rallied to your request for help with regards to compiling a letter of sponsorship.

    Hello again,
Thanks everybody for everythings, and thanks for the welcome, i like this site because i see pople help each other with a big smiles. i already wrote on some other forums but no body cares, or just some one of them give u a website to look at it. but i need someone who could explain to me very well and espcially these ones had the same problems like me,

Thanks for notes Arthur, Piamed and Steve, I'd very much appreciate your info and also the letter you sent me. and i'd like it cause your story is intersting as well, i'll use some part of it.. but did she had the interview!? cause i've heard some of them got visas with no interview!!!

Dakila.. appreciaed your info too, what do you think! i'll explain to you more , you might have something to tell, and also for the other members... well, as you might know that i am a moroccan man, an foreign living in italy legally and not working at the moment. and my fiancee is european citizenship, she's italian and working and living in london about one year now, she used to visit me here in italy in every few weeks. we already visit together some european countries and my country morocco too. we have pictures of these places together which could be helpful. but now im wondering about some parts, like the house, and her as a italian citizen, savings, etc...

my questions at the moment are :
    - Could she invite me as a fiance to uk even if she's not a british citizen or permently residence? but shes italian citizen!? birth100%

    - Could she be the sponsor.. but she doesn't have the house just sharing apartment with other persons, we think we book one week at the hotel first untill the visa application be successful then we rent our apartment to live in?

    - What if i got the visa and then i went there and we start living together for the first six months, can we regester as a civil partnertship, or get married? or how it works? and then after that should i be allowed to work in uk?

    - Should she come with me at the consulate for the interview...? should i bring her original documents or just the photocopy?

    - What about me! i am not the sponsorship, should i also make occupation, salary - payslips, bank statements, savings, etc? or just her because she is the sponsor.. im so worried, i have no idea about these visa's things.

So this is my question for now, please, help!

I Await all of your notes and info and things!

    Samir Best Greetings,

    Samir Best Greetings,
    hello redmir welcome here!!!

I think the UK Fiancé visa allows a person to bring their fiancé to join them in the United Kingdom if they themselves have settled status(means, they are living here lawfully with no time limit on their stay) / permanent resident or a British citizen.

Hi redmir and welcome to the forum.

    I have read your posts.
You must understand that your fiancee is a European (EEA) national and has a right to
free movement within Europe. She can come to UK , work and live here without any
    immigration restrictions.

Certain family members of your fiancee may also come to UK but will need to apply for a Family Permit.
    Family mambers are defined as:-

    spouse (husband or wife) or civil partner;
children or grandchildren of you, your spouse or your civil partner who are under 21 years of age or who are dependent on you; and
the parents or grandparents of you, your spouse or your civil partner.

    The regulations do state:
'If you and your partner are not married or in a civil partnership, you must be able to show that you are in a durable relationship with each other'

redmir, I have not read all the rules and regulations that would apply to your own case.
But it appears to me that you may have quite a number of difficulties. I am not saying it's impossible.

One question is why not get married in Italy??
This may be the route with least problems, just a standard Family Permit, provided of course you can meet all the other requirements.
You need to apply at the British Embassy in Italy for Family permit.

Hope this helps as a starter anyway

I would strongly suggest you review the UKBA website and also

    Please also look here:-
    http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pa...civilpartners/

This would apply if you are unable to apply Family Permit.
Please check you status under Family Permit (It's really not clear if fiancee is automatically accepted)

yeah, i think i replied on ur other thread too redmir

I think the UK Fiancé visa allows a person to bring their fiancé to join them in the United Kingdom if they themselves have settled status(means, they are living here lawfully with no time limit on their stay) / permanent resident or a British citizen.

also note that financial support and accommodation requirements are very strictly enforced by the UK immigration authorities. Inadequate financial documentation is the most common reason for initial denial of marriage and fiancee visas.

Joe... I did come to italy by a contract of work, which mean a visa work to italy and i am always legally here in taly!!!

Sars.. So, I understood that my fiancee wont be able to invite me as her fiance to uk, only if she has permanent resident or a British citizen. so her Italian citizenship is not enough!? But shes working and living there without a permanent resident or a british citizen... <I am very confused> .

    # We must find a place .... where we gonna live together before i apply for the visa?

    # The financial documentation is makes me afraid, must be her salary more than 1000 pounds? and how much must be her savings?

    Greetings, Redmir,

I'm afraid u will have a hard time getting the fianc'e visa ,..as u said ur fiance has just been here for a year working and living in london means shes not yet on a settled status..

If you are a European Economic Area (EEA) national or a Swiss national or the family member of such a person, you will automatically have permanent residence status if you have exercised EEA free-movement rights in the United Kingdom for a continuous five-year period ending on or after 30 April 2006. You do not have to apply for leave to remain.

    redmir,

    Sorry for this long post.

Lets clarify the information you have been given so far:-

    1. Your fiancee in UK

Your fiance is a European (EEA) national and has a right to free movement within Europe. She can come to UK , work and live here without any immigration restrictions. She does not need any other documents, permanent residence, or any visas etc.

    2. Your fiancee cannot just invite to to UK. You must apply for UK Entry Clearance
that means you need a visa. You will be the applicant and your fiancee with be
    the sponsor.

    3. You are not a Family Member and cannot apply for a Family Permit to join her. A Fiancee or unmarried partners MAY be considered under Family Permit application, but you will need to answer similar questions, provide similar documentations etc as with UK Fiancee Visa. Your success with this route depends also on your current status in Italy.
You already confirmed this is not the route you wish to take.

    4. You are asking for advice on applying for Fiancee Visa for UK

redmir, it is still not clear to me what is your status in Italy.
You mentioned Working Visa. Italy has many different regulations about work permit/visa. But in principle similar to UK You said you are not working, so what is your legal status at this time?
Work permit in Italy is only issued by the Employer and not easily transferable.
When does your work permit expire?

OK redmir, this is your personal info and you do not need to provide details here but it may help.
You current status will be important for your UK visa application.

4 Please check this webpage it will help you understand the requirements:-

    http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pa...civilpartners/

Dakila kindly responded with the following:-

    5. Your latest questions:-

We must find a place .... where we gonna live together before i apply for the visa?

    # The financial documentation is makes me afraid, must be her salary more than 1000 pounds? and how much must be her savings?

You will need to have somewhere suitable to live - see above reply from Dakila

You will need to prove sufficient financial resources to support yourself without any public funding.
You will not be allowed to work until you have a UK visa that allows you to work. Fiancee visa does not allow you to work.

There is no specified amount of money indicated by UKBA as long as you can show you have enough to support yourselves. You may well need some savings to convince UKBA that you can.

Once you have understood the requirements please go ahead and ask any specifc questions.

    redmir,
    Further information for you:-

From 29 November 2010, any migrant who wants to enter or remain in the UK as
the partner of a British citizen or a person settled here will need to show that they can speak and understand English.

You will need to meet the requirement if:

■you are a national of a country outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland; and
■you are in a relationship with a British citizen or a person settled here; and
■you want to apply to enter or remain in the UK as that person's husband, wife, civil partner, fiance(e), proposed civil partner, unmarried partner or same-sex partner.

If you are not a national of a majority English-speaking country or do not
have a degree taught in English you will need to pass an acceptable
English language test with one of our approved test providers.
Further details of this test can be found in our list of acceptable
    tests and approved test providers

marry in Italy and then apply for a family permit from the British embassy
or you could try for a visit visa at the British embassy and your fiancée could sponsor you, but like many visit visas it could be refused.

Unhappy Can my Italian fiancée working in UK, invite me (resident in Italy) to UK?

    Hello there,

I've been trying to know more info about this visa fiance, here! but every time i check the replies from the members then i realise or discover a new little problem from the members here..

    I'm so confused NOW!

I realised out that my italian fiance who lives and work in uk, doesn't have the permanent residency in uk! which means she can't invite me to the uk,

For how long it takes to get the permanent residency for her as shes a european citizen and been in uk for a one year now?

Which best way to bring me to the UK?

    S.O.S People!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :/

    Thanks in Advance,

    Redmir!!!

I don't think she need to be a permanent resident to sponsor a visit visa, what she needs to be doing is exercising her treaty rights - that's living and working in the UK, but I would have thought it would help if she had a registration certificate, there is no guarantee that you will get a visit visa, many are refused.

probably the easiest option is for you to marry in Italy and apply for a family permit from the British embassy and come to the UK with her.

your getting mixed up with Permanent residence

A registration certificate is a document, issued to EEA or Swiss nationals, that confirms their right of residence under European law. You do not need to have a registration certificate to enter, live in or work in the UK.

if you want to apply for a registration certificate, you must complete application form EEA1.

Based on what I've just read in the above posts, particularly as regards the OP's current immigration status in Italy, I would think it extremely unlikely that he'd be granted the sort of UK visa he's seeking.

I for one would be pretty disgruntled if it was that easy for non-EU residents to gain entry to this country.
