i lived in Mk for 10 years, i found it a great city for a family and my daughter was born and spent the first 6 years of her life there. there is something for everyone in Mk. I lived in Great Holm and Walnut Tree and found both areas very nice, The area your hotel is in is nice too, I find it better the further you get away from the M1, so the opposite side of Mk.
