Tell us about the food you get and on what airlines. What is it like.... what was it...etc....
I've always found the best food on Singapore Airlines and American Airways. Strangely the latter is one of the cheapest airlines.

yep SIA for me too..
Have to admit I almost never eat the food, and I fly up front where the food is 'supposedly' better. Although have to say the worst I've ever seen was on an airline called 'LAN Chile', I didn't even try eating it.
Cathay Pacific do serve a pretty good steak to say its microwaved lol
to me food on a plane is worse than hospital food
try not to eat it
I must be easy to please, I have flown around 20 times always on the cheapest I could find, and found the food ok
Mick.
i'm happy with toasted pork sandwich (cathay pacific) i like the quality and presentation of meals...and of course wine ,wine and more wine
''Don't be serious..Be Sincere''
No probs for me.
I will eat anything (except balut).
Funnily enough I really enjoy cooking, and healthy food at that.
I rarely eat out in this country though, partly because of tight-fistedness and partly because of the disgraceful hygiene in so many eating establishments.
When in the Phils I also do all the cooking.
As the food on the plane is included in the ticket price, AND it's (mostly) been put though a microwave, it's a win win situation.
That scrambled egg, KLM serve for breakfast is D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G DISGUSTING!!!
I'd rather eat Balut.
I've never had a nice airline breakfast.... the foods been sitting around for about 12hrs and is like rubber.

I must be fairly easy to please too, I cant think of any really bad experiences of airline food after 20+ flights a year over a 20+ year period. The pre-packed sandwiches on the budget airlines are a bit bland and tasteless, but if I'm hungry enough I'll eat them, and they are still preferable to a McDonalds.
The egg curry i was served by Jet Airways on a Mumbai to Dabolim (Goa) flight was very interesting and extremely spicy, but i enjoyed mine and my ex wife's helping
I do wish these airlines would have sandwiches onboard for the folk that don't fancy the dinner.... You can always order a 'special' meal in advance, and this has the bonus of you getting served before everyone else

cathay pacific for me the food is always cooked well & is always edible
On the Cathay flights I've been on they do have sandwiches and snacks available at any time (after dinner) also a choice of drinks (fruit juices, soft drinks and beer etc)
And, various fruits (Apple, Banana, Durian)
No No..............
not Durian just a joke.
I flew on Cathay pacific the last 2 times i been to Philippines and will be flying with them on 30 November again and never saw any sandwiches. Mind you even when i'm hungry i have never asked for food, probably thought they haven't got anything to hand out. Has anyone asked for food after the scheduled meals?
I have flown with Malaysia, Singapore, Cathay Pacific and Etihad always in cattle class and noticed that most of the food changes depending on what sector you are flying. When i flew to Thailand with Malaysia airlines, UK-to KL was nice food but when i flew to Bangkok from KL it was spicy hot!! whereas when i flew to cebu from KL it was lovely food!! I think the airlines influence their food from their country of origin with the destination.
I think i would prefer small snacks throughout the flight as on a 12 hour flight i get the chronic munchies!! and have no problem eating what is in front of me!!
To be honest, I think most people would be happy if Sandwiches and Snacks were available at the back of the aircraft for the whole flight and you could just get what you wanted.
In economy, I never expect much, and usually get what I expect.
The twisted situation is that in Business you are offered a large selection of food, when you want dining with the likes of Etihad (the steak sandwich from the As you wish is pretty good actually), but the problem is you don't want it because you actually have the opportunity to sleep for the entire flight.
On the last Etihad flight I took from Manila to Abu Dhabi, nobody in Business Class had the meal, that is absolutely no-one, because they put the seats into recline and slept. So the whole meals on plane situation is a mess. Give people what they want!
In Economy, offer a selection of sandwiches, snacks and drinks in the galley throughout the whole flight, and in business have an as you wish selection of a few things people might want.
On KLM Business I will never choose the meal again, the staff seem to think that because its a 12 hour flight, they can serve a 3 course meal over 4 hours... then wake you up for breakfast 2 hours before landing. Well, along with the stupid slidey seats, you don't get much sleep, which is not good if you planning to work at the other end of the flight.
I know this seems a bit ungrateful, but I don't pay for these flights, but have to work once I arrive in Europe/USA and am not in it for the experience like a Tourist enjoying life!
That's another thing that annoys me on night flights, after 2hrs in-flight they decide to wake you up to feed you when your stomach says its 2am .... I don't want food then

I am a well seasoned traveller, have flown with loads of different airlines and always make a point of eating a proper meal at the airport (or hotel) before flying. I NEVER eat the food on board a flight; even the bread rolls usually taste yucky
Ah Rosie you must never have been poor.
My mum always made us eat up every last crumb of our bread and dripping...but told us to refuse food when we were at other folks' houses, in case they thought she wasn't feeding us.
I'm just a very fussy eater Graham
I always take a pack-up anyway...just in case we become marooned in the Gobi desert or something.
Us Yorkshire folk are very practical like that.

Singapore Airlines without a doubt,2 meals on flight one was steak! plus free singpore slings all the way there and you can just get up and get snacks all night and you fly on the fabulous a380 airbus.
Cathay's food was pretty good i think!
