Maybe I am completely wrong... but I thought the English test requirement was only applicable to those who appled for visa's to settle here in UK??
    Not for visit visa's.

Can anyone confirm this or otherwise?

Terpe ... you're absolutely correct in your assumption. Earlier this year, the UK Border Agency announced new *English Language Tests for all non-European migrants applying to come to the UK to join or marry a settled or British partner. *These will become compulsory as of 29 November, 2010. Applications for Visitors' Visas will - as far as I'm aware - remain unaffected by the new ruling.

26 again, Steve ... that's the way to look at it! I'll bet that with having Emma there, you feel as if you really were only 26!
