Very very hard question I think as you get older it is harder to specify a single specific favourite, for me the closest I could get to that would be Contact
Other faves -
The Fifth Element this was just a great funny sci-fi action movie.
It's a wonderful life close second for my all time favourite and some days my absolute fav.
Lord of the Rings
Groundhog Day
Probably too many faves to mention.
I have watched it so many times as well and it never loses its magic!
Saw it on the big screen at the GFT (Gasgow Film Theatre) in the mid 80's, but I had watched on TV so many times as a child, bought the DVD about 8 or 10 years ago I think.
Sadly I tried to get Ana to watch it with me but she got bored because it was in black and white![]()
Ah well maybe when she's in her 40's I'll get her to appreciate itonly a few years to go
James Stewart was just such a great actor, an all time great!!
Went to see the latest version (1997) of the *film 'Titanic' - twice in the same week, would you believe!?Not so much for the "story" ... since - many years earlier - I'd read about the sinking of this magnificent [looking] ocean-going liner ... but more because of the marvellous re-creation of the vessel's interior on the *set.
ooohh mine' i l LOVE.. GREEN MILE, TITANIC, THE NOTEBOOK, FOREST GUMP, DEAR JOHN,( even if i already watched them few times i keep on crying ... over and over.. )...

Indeed Joe !
I had forgotten that one I loved that film too, I know a lot of people might find "What dreams may come" to be very odd, but Williams was great in that!
Now that you mention him another of my favourites was Bicentennial Man, that was also a real tear jerker, Williams was great as the robot Andrew, the film was inspired by the Isaac Asimov robot stories.
Thanks Joe!!
She had her first annulment hearing a few days ago.
