Well ... being an old romantic at heart, I've singled out two American movies - both made in the 1990s - "Sleepless in Seattle" and "The Bridges of Madison County" ... each of which ... with its nail-biting climax ... kept me on the edge of my seat!

Sleepless in Seattle is a great film. It's great seeing Seattle too, one of the best cities in the US of A!

What a tough one. At the moment, 'Lucky Number Slevin', because Lucy Liu in it reminds me of my missus. Some uncanny similarities haha. And it's just a good film.

The film that completed stunned me, 'Boy in the Striped Pyjamas'. Sat and watched this film in the mess with a group of rough tough sailors, after it finished, we all left in silence and never mentioned the film again!

    Other good ones
    American Beauty - Pyschological
    Taken - Absolutely amazing film
Man On Fire - Denzel Washington, top film.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Another good head screwing film.
    Top Gun A true classic

There are lots of films I can watch multiple times, but here are a few:-

    It's A Wonderful Life (1946)
    (James Stewart & Donna Reed)

    Groundhog Day (1993)
    (Bill Murray & Andie MacDowell)

    Sleepless In Seattle (1993)
    (Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan)

    All Marx Brothers films
    (just very funny)
