Hello
I would like to ask for an advise regarding identity card. My visa in coming here to England was visit for marriage and when it expired August 2010 I applied for an identity card. They issued me one and it will expire on June 2012 and stated there spouse/partner leave to remain and work permitted.
My mother passed away last Friday and I want to go home to the Phils. My question is , can I use my identity card as visa to go home?
I called the Identity and Pass port Service here in the UK. The person who answered me was not sure if the identity card is still valid to travel to the Phils. because of the new administration rules.
Please give me advise on this one. My mother will be buried on the 21st and I have to get home as soon as I can.
