Hi, and welcome to the forum.

What will her (biological) father say about it ?

You would have to travel with her, because of anti-people-trafficking laws.

My ex-wife brought her 2 children here, but she had new birth certificates issued with 'father unknown' on them.
Their actual father died soon after that anyway.

It should be quite straightforward getting dependent visas for them, except for the father's rights in the Phils.

I'm confused...so you are a man, and a British citizen with a British passport, and the child is YOURS ?

Can you give some more information about the situation with your wife please ?

Your wife will need to give her permission first.

Hi caancoo, welcome to the forum

Just for information please look here:-
    http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pa...lies/children/

However, you case is a little different.
You will need to provide more info as Graham has indicated.
Does your daughter have British Citizen rights?

One of the issues you may well need to resolve is that of ‘sole responsibility’ for your daughter.

The 'sole responsibility' rule can be complex, as the meaning cannot be precise.
    Every family’s situation is different.

I don't think there is any written information from The UKBA on specifically how to prove sole responsibility status.

But you may need to think about how you would satisfy the UKBA that as the sponsoring parent, you have been the main person exercising parental responsibility for the child.
This means having the ultimate responsibility for the major decisions relating to the
child’s upbringing and providing the child with the majority of the financial and emotional support.
