I'm up for it. I only live up the road in Edgbaston off Hagley Road. You've probably seen me around as B17 was one of my postcodes as a courier.
Sometimes drink in the Ole House on Lordswood Rd, and The Duck and the Garden House on Hagley Rd. Used to go in the White Swan too but not so much now since it's changed hands. What a lovely pub that was. They've spoilt it by modernizing it!
Also go in the Ivy Bush occasionallybut that's a last resort.

Hi there Janie, know most of those pubs and yup they ruined the White Swan, I remember when the duck was the dirty duck and had cracking real ales back in the mid/late eighties when I was here before, not been since coming back this way. Maria only yesterday gave me the silent treatment then explained to me later that I was not giving her enough attention, playing games on my phone when I should have been speaking to her on cam. I admit I was out of order and I appreciate her telling me why she was upset.
