Of course you'd be much better going to AC, maybe staying at a hotel for 2 or 3 days and have a look around the local agencies/see plenty of different houses.
Gated subdivisions like Hensonville, Timog Park, etc tend to be safer.
I'll ask my other half. She works in AC so she might have some info.
