hi steed welcome here you will meet lovely people and the advice is second to none.i just came home from phils after approx 18 months i at first was located in makati for a few months and easily spent 75k a month,after i moved to the province and enjoyed an easy life were we and my partner lives extremly well for 25k a month including rent and all eating and social events i can only wish you well but my advice is to leave the makati and the big city life is slower easier and a lot cheaper in the provinces good luck to you keep us posted.
