Many years ago Gary Numan at Hammersmith Odeon...............i'll wait for the insults ....please form an orderly queue
Phil Collins @ Earls Court..... awesome value for money.. i think he stopped for 15mins over a 2 hour gig.....His drumming is just the best!
Come to think of it it was even greater value "freebe tickets! "
I saw James live at Manchester on their last day of their tour before they broke up in 2001 ( and got back together years later), it was filmed and sold on dvd, i'm somewhere in the crowd
in fact when they were playing this song 'tomorrow' i phoned the misses on my mob in the phils and let her hear it, she said where the was I
Gotta keep faith that your path will change
Gotta keep faith that your luck will change tomorrow
Shirley Bassey, during the 90's in Hong Kong, only went because a girlfriend took me,thoroughly enjoyed the performance and been a fan ever since
Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
Hmmm.... I don't go to crap gigs, all of them put on great shows, Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Meatloaf, Michael Jackson, Status Quo, Scorpions, Hawkwind, Judas Priest, and so on

Definately The Smiths...my all time favourite band...love them or hate them?
Joe, James were the support band I also saw James at a Festival & I'm pretty sure I saw them somewhere else, but can't remember where?
Love the video Joe "What!...Johnny Marr!" Thanks for posting
He's still got it & he's a bit older than me.
Yes we did have a 'conversation' about The Smiths before ...just an influential band.
I think they opened a lot of doors, for indie type bands, them & the likes of John Peel. They got very little Radio 1 daytime air play, but became very popular. The charts at the time, were full of Stock Aitken & Waterman pap!...Unfortunately, we seem to have gone back full circle, with the x factor.
Fortunately, we're lucky to have the internet now, so people can search out their own type of music & bands can get their message accross, a little easier.
Anybody still awake?
Genesis on the Mama tour at the NEC. Saw them again at Wembley stadium but it was too big and lost the atmosphere.
Also the Les Miserables 25th anniversary concert at the O2 with my idol Lea Salonga.
I've watched Metalica Live in Manila in the 90's...it was also a year when they released their black album.. 'Enter Sandman' for opening real cool
