2 new episodes of Top Gear over Xmas

If any of you are car and TG fanatics like me, there are 2 new Xmas specials on BBC2 over Xmas:

Tues 21st Dec 8PM - Another US road trip in 3 super exotics

Sunday 26th Dec 8PM - The 3 wise men take a road trip to Bethlehem in 3 old knackered roadsters.

That's my Xmas TV viewing sorted out, the telly wont go on at any other time

I was guessing that Alan and Graham would be the first ones to respond, I think we need to have a special car section of the forum just for us

For me Jeremy Clarkson is just perfect for this show

nor for Eastenders, Coronation St, X Factor, Come Dancing or any of the other dross that is on TV. If there's a decent movie on, I might watch that, and I'll have the usual fighting between the kids over who gets control of the TV for either kids TV, a DVD or the games console

I enjoyed the first installment of Christmas Top Gear, looking forward to Sunday's show now.

The 458 Italia - Automotive Porn....and the sound it makes at 9000 RPM

hmmmm, if I sell a kidney will it get me enough for a downpayment

Yeah, I love the Maranello magic...watching the trailor for the upcoming shows, they showed some clips of an F40 and a 288GTO Can't wait for those either.

911's are great everyday sportscars, very useable and reliable, typically German, but they don't have any soul. I've never felt any emotion or special whenever I've driven one. I've come close to buying several 911's (993 and 996's) over the years, but when I get in one and drive it, it doesn't have the same magical feeling I get whenever I sit in an Italian thoroughbread.....I miss my old 308 and 328's

Second one is in-car TVR Tuscan speed 6.

    Ah the 'ring.

    That's a cheapo Westfield 7

My friend has a bike-engined 'Indy' 7-type kit car that he took round the ring last summer.
It IS a damned quick car...so light !

I'm improving my times on the Xbox.
