FLR and Travel Outside UK

I am native to the UK and my wife, whom is from the Philippines, has just been granted two years of Further Leave to Remain (FLR) by the UKBA. We'd like to take a few days vacation (honeymoon) to Spain or Italy but were unsure whether FLR allowed for this and are concerned that either country might refuse my wife entry on her UK residency permit and Philippines visa. Can anybody advise?

Actually we might go to Turkey as it's warmed at the time of year we plan to travel.

yes, your wife can travel to Spain or Italy. All she needs to do is apply for schengen visa and that's it...

I did that one this year, I'm on FLR and applied for schengen visa to go to Barcelona with my husband. The visa fee is free.

... but remember, she HAS to travel with her ID card.

What about if we want to visit somewhere further away, such as in the Caribbean?

have to visit the embassey where ever you would like to go could take a few weeks to sort out they say , i am waiting to do the same but after xmas may sort it out good luck

we have also plan on a trip in Spain but just wondering how to get a schengen visa?? hope someone can help...
