I used to go out with a filipina years ago.
Gen was working over here as a croupier onboard same ferry as myself.
Most eye opening moments of my life beautiful mannerable quiet but brilliant to talk to and spend time with. Turned out that she was only over for that amount of time because of the job.
1wk Before she went home i had a rather close family member pass away, And instead of saying to her this has happened i said nothing and let her go!!!
I felt bad for sometime after that and eventually managed to get in contact with her, I'm so happy for her married and a little 1 on the way i truly am delighted for her.
After meeting Gen and seeing 1st hand the values she placed on life, enjoyment and showing me what really is important in life and to strive towards better thing's for myself and loved one's.
And non of this superficial nonsense.
