    Well done Les
Diesel I'm assuming? 2.0 TDCi Duratorq, If so it's the same engine as the Peugeot anyway, just with a Ford badge on the covers

I was contemplating going back on the p/h taxi's but I'd want to be earning at least £350 - £400 pw after fuel/rent.

Well done Les...will look out for you.

I bought a brand new Peugeot 205 in 1989, my first diesel.

She did 350,000 miles and still going strong when I said goodbye.

Then bought a Rover SLDi turbo, which I moved on at 160,000, but really good car.

I now have one of the last made MGZS 115+ diesels, reg in 2006...so far so good.

Can't go wrong with diesels. The best one I had was an Escort but I think that one had an engine made by Peugeot. Bought it with 17k on the clock and can't remember ever spending anything on it apart from a couple of tyres. I don't think I ever changed the oil. Sold it with around 76k on the clock.

Well done Les - hard work pays off.

You could have stepped off the ferry in Hull and binned your passport

Nice one Les, I wish you a very Happy New Year and many many passengers!

Doesn't the mondeo have the same engine as the Jaguar S type?
