Well I've never done the online dating thing in the UK. Only Hong Kong. But at the end of the day, UK online dating is unlikely to see you sending loads of money to the ladies in question and you don't have fly halfway around the world to meet them. For someone new to it, it would be. Best to experience online dating from your own backyard before looking at a LDR if you're gonna take that route. That way you can get use to all the bullshit and learn from it.
