    british passport

    hi me and my wife have just gt all the paper work ready to apply for my sons british passport from the philippines but we are not sure of the exact fees we need 2 pay for it and of whts the best way to pay it it would be of so much help if anyone could help us , iam back working in the uk at the moment so its my wife and son who still in the philippines ,iam actually starting to think it just be better 2 apply for settlement visa,s for both them to the uk first then get his british passport here have anyone had 2 go through this as its getting so hard just not having them with me

    you could apply for a settlement visa for both of them, but it would cost you over £700 each , its probably better to get the british passport for him in the phils.

    The cost for a new passport for an under 16 is £81.50 and at the current embassy exchange rate, it will be 6,031 peso.

    Now that the passport is being processed at the regional hub in Hong Kong, there is now also a courier fee of 1,170 peso.

    Payment options: CASH or MANAGER’S / CASHIER’S CHEQUE in Philippine currency, drawn only on Philippine Banks that form part of the Regional Clearing Units and have either MICR or RT numbered reference printed or written on the cheque, payable to BRITISH EMBASSY MANILA. Personal cheques are not acceptable.
