strict 28 days,?????? I said to the guy no one told us about having to enter the UK within 28 days from date on visa,
his reply NO WE DONT GIVE OUT THAT INFORMATION

its not a strict 28 days about entering the UK, its a strict 28 days or less about when you can apply for ILR. FLR you can apply anytime, but ILR you have to apply within 28 days of your wife being in the UK 2 yrs.

but they do mention on the web site about you should enter within the 28 days of the visa being issued, but they dont tell you why, because if its more than 28 days you will prob have to apply for FLR to make up the 2 yrs, and iam sure it says you can enter upto 28 days before the start date of the visa !!
