    BBC1 Tonight "Human Planet" 8pm.

Its the episode showing the badjao

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

Its on now, incredibly well filmed, good subject matter, whale hunters in Indo on at the moment, but they are going to show the badjao who shuttle back-and-forth twixt Pinas and Sabah, worth a watch just to see parts of the country that most dont get the chance to and an insight into a people that used to spend the majority of their time on the waves.

That was a really interesting documentary, and always nice to see the Phil's on TV. Mind you, I wouldn't fancy trying that compressor diving the fishermen in Palawan were doing

That Badjao guy was something else, the underwater footage of him strolling across the coral while spearfishing was fantastic Those pa-aling divers have an incredibly harsh life

BBC natural history programmes are always incredibly well made.

I didn't see any of those divers when I was in Honda Bay last week

I watched it with my daughter, great discovery for both of us,we only knew that badjao build houses on the sea in the Philippines migrate in different islands during Christmas season and summer, begging for money or selling accessories(coral, pearls) by the beach we didn't actually know how hard or harsh life it is to them ,,very interesting tnx tawi2

Yes that compressor diving was too crazy ...but what choice do they have?
It's interesting that Homo Sapiens, have learnt to adapt in all corners of the globe.

That surfing in Hawaii was amazing, makes me want to take it up ...Siargo is the surfing place in the Philippines, isn't it?

    I watched it.
I didn't fall asleep, so it must have been fascinating.
Then I watched a prog about a guy who escaped from a Turkish Jail, after being put away for drug smuggling. Also fascinating.
