No need to book an appointment all paper work can be sent via LBC to the embassy .
when we did our daughters we had to apply for the british brith certificate first which took 2 weeks and then apply for her passport which also took 2 weeks.
it may take longer for passports now as they do not print them at the manila embassy now but send them from hong kong
give the embassy a call in manila i found them very helpfull
Thanks Stef-I thought really that we have to set appointment to visit there and then apply for this brit passport personally.
