Yeah i think applying for that one in the UK would have been impossible,
Thankfully e can show, (by a letter from my company....i have an understanding boss) that she is allowd to travel with me while i am working on a project, basically everything they need to hear.
My aim is actually to get a another job while i am in the UK so we will be based permanantely, but we would have to be careful with our dates. (the embassy in Brunei said, we could try buggering off for a couple of weeks holiday and upon returning to the UK, if the border agency thought we were getting close / talking the piss they would give her a warning first and also advise her on how long she has left before she needs to get out for a certain amount of time.
Hopefully the appeal by the goverment gets kicked out quickly and we can just apply for a settlement visa asap. either way i will get a couple of weeks holiday back in Manila at some point...always some good with bad
