I was going to pop in for an hour to the fiesta,I just got to Feltham and decided against it,the rain is felines and canines, not pleasant,so I popped into Tesco did a bit of shopping and retraced my steps I pity those who have to make a long journey, this isnt the weather for Lambton Park

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

that explains it,I thought I was hallucinating or the store tanoy had malfunctioned,as I pushed my trolley around I kept hearing snippets on the wind.........A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist........I always say shopping is cheaper than a psychiatrist.........etc they say a building retains happy and sad memories trapped within its walls,I think your going to haunt the fabric of that particular Tesco for a long time to come

Got there about 12.45 the rain wasn't half as bad as the earlier downpours round Chertsey & Staines. - It wasn't a quagmire , surfaces drained well. The only bits of serious rain came just before 4 lasting a few minutes and then a couple of more prolonged heavy showers 5 & 5.30. Most people well equipped with umbrellas, waterproofs or poly Lebara & Unison handouts, laughable to see some of the dolled up to the nines ladies in high heels. Plenty of freebies to be had BB Caps, T Shirts, Bags, Pens etc

Not the most enjoyable Barrio Fiesta but we may well go again Sunday.

A couple of poor quality pics from my Blackberry - note plane on final approach above stage, the crooner in the left hand pic is Eric Santos.

It's been quite nice here in north Kent later this afternoon, with sun since 4pm! Hope it's like that tomorrow in Hounslow!

I was the other side of the stage when Mr Stanos was on the stage the grass was not to bad considering well played to the organisers and Park people But the Sound system was very loud I think simply down to the lower numbers in the main area. Far fewer of the chav kids turned up seemed to be mainly the couples and familys but as you say Dedworth not a great atmosphere

Still worth having some sturdy shoes even if no more rain like Dedworth I saw a few people wondering why they came in Heels or tiny Sandals. Many of the pinays with us and in other groups were feeling the cold in the afternoon at points so some of the those in shorts must have suffered

Was quiet for Barrio Fiesta and like you Dedworth I seemed to break last years record of Bag carrying of freebies foods and "Bargins" the wife picked up All to be sent of to pinas

We might bowl down tomorrow the weather on accuweather seems to indicate quite a few hours of sunny cloudy periods with showers now n then..

Tomorrow if we go (I know we will) then we will have decent water proof coats and Umbrellas (but due to the wide open spaces easier to simply put up a hood and carry on while others shelter or try and stop their umbrellas flying away

The best deal the wife saw was one of the phone companies gave her 20 mintues of free calls on a card which managed to get a few of those

We were thinking of staying right to the end as most of the food stalls were very well stocked indeed in the late afternoon to see what deals were done.. With the charge of the stall being 1500 pounds per day (thats what one owner told the wife) and all the other costs I really hope they have a great Sunday
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops

Now sitting in the car in the bowls club car park (which now costs £10!) waiting for my friends to arrive. Been rain showers (some heavy) most of the time since I left home! Hope it stops soon!

Was there from about 11.10 till it started winding down just after 5. Enjoyed it more than yesterday, much, much bigger turn out. Pitched up not too far from the stage (in line with Western Union) on our two small tripod stools and a large umbrella which kept us perfectly dry when many were getting a soaking. Not quite as many freebies available.

Pics are view from under the Dedworth's Umbrella, KFC Concepcion & Yeng

I didn't think much of her (and her singing
I heard her singing Umbrella and she was horrific, didnt have the strength of voice nor the vocal range, she isnt really a singer, she is quite talentless and would never have gotten a break were it not for her mum, nepotism is alive and well and singing in Pinas she should be called marmite concepcion judging by some of the comments at the bottom of the video, she is either adored or loathed, theres no middle ground

The Wife and her friends mentioned today on the way home were wondering why the "stars" bothered. It went along the lines of Why do they waste money on big stars when it was evident they had cut back in other areas (first time i had seen such large piles of litter at Barrio Fiesta) far fewer stewards and litter people walking round from memory and what i see in photos I do realise ABS CBN bank roll the stars who im sure are happy to visit London

Although it was good they got rid of the stupid barrier section near the stage from what I have seen..

I know a lot of Pinays take great pride in the amazing family atmosphere and safe environment for all which means they can invite friends and family who are not Pinoy to experience the warmth of the place.

Every year we joke how the police must love the two days at Barrio Fiesta with bugger all to do and from what i seen people offering them food all day

I hope they don't cut to many costs and what is a great day out is spolit quite a few non Phill connected families and couples there this time round and what a great advert for a nation and its people

I would be interested if they had a survey which gave info on what attracts the typical Punter to the Barrio from what I have seen its the day out among your own, the foods and the friendly atmosphere not heard from young or old many actually any that worried about the stars

Still the wife had a great time and as usual met a lot of people and has found some great deals useful info
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops
