Co-Sponsors for accommodation need only provide a notarized copy of the portrait page of passport in addition to letter and other docs (depending if renters owners or mortgage) stating yoy can both stay.
You will need to supply evidence that you and spouse will have exclusive access to a bedroom which is not used by anyone else.
A bedroom is a room which is not used as any other room like kitchen, bathroom,
or utility room etcy. A bedroom can be a family room or study which has been converted for exclusive access. The bedroom must be at least 50 square feet in dimension.

You need only send a notarized copy of your passport made by a UK authorised notary or solicitor
