    Wasn't Cristiano Ronaldo more expensive? Thought he was like 90 Million. Or do you mean a fee paid by an English club?

    Yeah, means money paid for a player by a British club. Beat it by quite a bit as the previous was Robinho (spell?) for £34.5 million by Man City.
